A message from our Chapter President

Dear Maryland AAHAM Members,

I am very proud and honored to have been elected as President of Maryland AAHAM.  Maryland AAHAM has a long and prestigious history.  This year we will be celebrating our 40th Anniversary of the Annual Institute.  We will be returning to the Princess Royale Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland the week of September 11-13, 2012.  Kristina Mori, CPAM, 1st Vice-President will be Coordinating the Annual Institute this year.  We are looking forward to another great week of strong educational sessions with a bit of fun thrown in.  The theme this year is “Putting the Pieces of Healthcare Together.”  You will soon be receiving a Save-the-Date card with more information.

We will continue our monthly education sessions at Snyder’s Willow Grove  in Linthicum, Maryland.  Erin Miskelly, 2nd Vice-President and Erika Berg, CPAT will be coordinating these education sessions.  Once again, we will be combining efforts with the Maryland Chapter of HFMA as we host a joint session at Sheppard Pratt Conference Center on April 20, 2012.  We are very excited to have Day Egusguiza as our guest speaker who will be discussing ICD-10 Effects on the Revenue Cycle.  The joint meeting with Maryland HFMA will be an excellent session to attend, so please make sure you support the joint session.

We are very excited to inform the entire Maryland AAHAM Chapter the following news:
